My name is Samar Abbas. As a farmer, I rely on a diesel-powered pump to irrigate crops, but rising diesel costs often prevent timely watering, reducing crop yields and increasing expenses. I learned about Kallar Kahar Livelihoods Project from a friend, which provides interest-free loans. Dunya Foundation provided me with PKR 200,000 to install a 3HP solar pump through which I can save PKR 2,000 daily on diesel costs, and my crop yield has doubled. My financial situation has improved significantly and I’m truly grateful to Dunya Foundation.
